We are selling our cute little house pictured on the right, and moving to Northern Virginia!!
It’s crazy! We are days away from packing up our lives and moving across the state. It still hasn’t hit me that by the end of the week we’ll be living in a whole different city, a few hours away from Lynchburg. While we are excited about the move, this is a huge step for our family!
It hasn’t been an easy decision to make, but we feel that this is where we are supposed to go next. Tim has accepted a job as a youth pastor at Heritage Baptist Church in Ashburn, VA. We cannot wait to meet the teens there and get to know them better and serve them! 2017 is going to be a fun year!
Yesterday was the last day with the youth at our local church. It was a bittersweet day! We love each of them dearly and are so sad to have to say goodbye. We’ve been with them for the past two and a half years and we have so many great memories together. The youth group surprised Tim with a very sweet video they played during the morning worship service. Aaand… of course I could not stop the tears running down my cheeks the whole time the video was up. We watched it again when we got home last night, and the same thing happened. Something must have gotten in my eyes yesterday since those tears wouldn’t go away :)

On a different note, I am super excited to meet and work with some amazing brides and wedding vendors in the Washington D.C. area.
