I’ve been looking forward to sharing this blog post the whole year! The year in review post is one of my favorite things to share on the blog. It’s so much fun to look back at all the behind-the-scene moments that happened throughout the wedding season. Last year’s post was a big hit, so if you’re dying to see why, you can take a look here.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my 2016 couples for trusting me with capturing their special day! I am truly honored!! 2016 was an amazing year and I got to work with some pretty amazing brides and grooms, if I may say so myself! To all my sweet #ATPCouples, YOU are the reason why I love doing what I do. Here’s to another great wedding season ahead! Now, let’s take a look at how this year unfolded. Fair warning, some of these behind-the-scene shots are pretty epic!
Taking pretty pictures is not always easy. Having a tall husband (aka second shooter) sure comes in handy at times.
Other times he doubles as a photo bomber!
And he’s really good at it.
Most times though, he is a professional model for my test shots! Haha.
Sometimes being a wedding photographer doubles as being a stylist as well because…
…you need to get that veil shot just right!
I don’t mind getting in the bushes for the perfect picture…
..or getting in front of my second shooters when they are trying to take their shot. Haha!
Okay, ladies… one more time and we’re done here!
I get the same reaction from the girls every time.
The guys, however, think I’m pretty funny…
…or not so much. Haha!
Other times they think I’m so cool they try to imitate me.
Sometimes I just like to mix in with the guests.
They all seem to love me anyways.
At times I have some tough competition.
Here, sir. Let me get out of your way!
Sometimes we get our own table and name tag! Talk about ideal clients!
Here’s what I need you to do. Love it. Perfect. Done!
Father-daughter first look at noon with harsh light?!
Sure, no problem! We’ll make it work!!
Crazy second shooters! Haha.
Here’s what the final shot looks like :)
Rain or shine, we are prepared!
