We just got back from Wintergreen last night and I already finished blogging an engagement session, caught up on all the emails, scheduled consultations for this week, fully cleaned our house, and now I am just sitting here wishing this past weekend hadn’t ended. It felt so good to be away from all the distractions of life for a couple of days… just me and my sweet family in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you are not familiar with the Wintergreen Resort, it is a ski resort here in Central Virginia. And the best part about it, it’s just a little over an hour away from home. Once you get up there though, it feels like you are thousands of miles away from everything, so quiet and peaceful. It really helped slipping away for a few days to relax and enjoy the nature. Timothy, Kenneth and I had a blast.
To be honest, while I was up there my photographer mind couldn’t help but think how much fun shooting a wedding at the Wintergreen Resort would be. Gahhh! The mountain views everywhere you look would definitely make for an amazing backdrop for a fabulous wedding. So if you are reading this and are planning (or know anyone who is) a wedding at the Wintergreen Resort make sure to let me know. I would absolutely LOVE to photograph your wedding day at Wintergreen!
