Chris and Mackenzie had a classic barn wedding at Sorella Farms in Evington, Virginia. It was absolutely stunning from start to finish! These two didn’t let a little bit of rain in the forecast scare them and as a result, they were able to enjoy the most beautiful reception together with their friends and family.
We started the day at the Hampton Inn Hotel in Lynchburg, Virginia where Mackenzie and the bridesmaids had their makeup and hair done.
Chris and his groomsmen were getting ready three floors above the girls’ room. From Hampton Inn, the bridal party all left together for the church in a beautiful limo that waited for them right outside the hotel. The ceremony at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church was heartfelt and sweet and the bride and groom exited the ceremony with a lavender toss.
As we arrived at Sorella Farms, the rain started to fade and we were able to enjoy some beautiful portrait time. What I love about Sorella Farms is that it offers so much variety in portrait locations: the rustic barn, the gorgeous green fields, the charming farmhouse, the I DO Hill, and the deep blue lake, all in one place.
Sorella Farms is the best venue if you want a classic barn wedding for your big day.
