Some of my favorite Carter Mountain engagement photos are gracing the blog today! Alex and Elizabeth are one of the most photogenic couples I have ever met. They could easily add professional models to their resumes. Just wait until you see them pose! They’d naturally get into a pose without a lot of direction. They are literally perfect! To say that I am excited for their wedding next month is an understatement!!
This sweet couple got engaged at the Omni Homestead back in March of this year. Alex organized the weekend under the guise of celebrating a work victory and had the resort set up a little room behind the restaurant where he proposed. How sweet is that?!
When I asked Elizabeth what she was most excited about for her wedding, she said:
It’s difficult to pinpoint just one thing we are excited about, and saying we are excited about “getting married” seems rather broad! We really love D.C. and ran into a struck of luck getting a venue right across the street from the Capitol. Our priest and church have been fantastic during our whole preparation process. I’m adapting my mom’s wedding dress to wear, which I am really excited about. Basically just excited about everything!
To be honest, I am SO excited to see Elizabeth’s dress! I think that’s such a sweet way to honor her mom and I know that she’s going to look absolutely amazing in it.
This is the second time this year that I’ve taken engagement photos at Carter Mountain Orchard in Charlottesville, VA and it’s one of my favorite locations for photos. Enjoy Alex and Elizabeth’s beautiful fall pictures!
