Emma’s floral birthday party last weekend was amazing! We loved celebrating this cutie who turns ONE today. Seriously, how did that even happen?! It feels like just yesterday I was on the way to the hospital to welcome this sweet baby girl into the world. Her birth story was pretty incredible. She arrived about an hour and a half after we got to the hospital. Talk about fast!
She is full of energy and brings so much joy to our lives. We literally could not imagine our lives without her! We love you so much, sweet baby girl!
When planning our children’s birthday parties, I like to pick a theme and plan everything around it. I have to say though, picking a theme proved to be more difficult this time than it did in the previous years. I went through so many ideas, from princess to ballerina themes, etc. I then thought about how those themes would be more fun once she is older. I could picture her running around in her ballerina outfit or her favorite princess costume. So I decided to do something simple and picked a floral theme for the party instead.
I purchased some long strings of flowers from Michaels and made a big flower wall for our dessert table. Then I contacted Evan from Sweets by E and she baked the most delicious naked cake, decorated with fresh flowers on top. It looked amazing and tasted even better. Yumm!
The birthday girl!
This was the perfect cake to go with our floral birthday party theme. Thank you so much, Evan!
Busy bee reading upside down. Now, that takes talent :)
When hubs bakes the most delicious cupcakes!
She knows how to pose for pictures already! When did she become a teenager?!
I purchased Emma’s invitation template from Your Little Poster on Etsy!
I absolutely love that sweet little smile! I am so honored to be this cutie’s mommy.
Happy Birthday, Miss Emma! You are so very loved!
