With my blogposts, I typically give advice and tips to brides on their wedding planning, but today I am going to be a little more personal and give you a glance into my life. This fall was our little baby Kenneth’s first and he absolutely loved it. He usually does not care to be put into costumes or outfits that are uncomfortable, but
he thoroughly enjoyed his Mickey Mouse costume he wore when we went “Trunk-or-Treating.” For those of you who just read this and thought “did she just say trunk instead of trick”…well, I did. My husband and I took our little one out to a local outreach that had cars all lined up with their trunks open, full of candy. This was a safe alternative to going door to door. It was so much fun and Kenneth, even though only 7 months old, quickly became accustomed to reaching into the candy bowls and grabbing two pieces every time. We, as first time parents, thought it only proper that we engage in the activities as well and dressed up as Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Safe to say, Kenneth, the littlest Mickey was by far the cutest. After the “Trunk-or-Treat” was over, we visited family in the area and showed him off. This made for a long evening, but it was truly worth it. If you could have seen the smile he had on his face grabbing all of his candy and being the center of attention, I am sure it would have melted your heart, just as it did ours.
