Connor and Christiana’s Ida Lee Park engagement photos make my photographer heart oh-so-happy! These two absolutely nailed their session!
Engagement sessions are easily one of my favorite things during the booking process. I love spending time with my couples and getting to know them better before their big day rolls around. And this Ida Lee engagement session was no exception. We walked, we talked, and took some beautiful pictures that I know my couple will cherish for a lifetime.
Christiana and Connor met during their sophomore year in high school in the school cafeteria. Over the years, they became best friends and finally started dating their freshman year of college (at Virginia Tech). They’ve been dating for 3 and a half years now! How awesome is that?!
Connor proposed by taking Christiana to Virginia Beach one weekend during their fall semester. Virginia Beach is where Christiana and her family go every year and she loves it there. As far as she knew, they were visiting Connor’s close friend at CNU. That Sunday morning, he proposed on the beach at sunrise while it was just the two of them.
Seriously guys… how romantic is that?!
I think Connor did a fantastic job and I’m so excited to celebrate with them on their wedding day next year!
While we had to reschedule their engagement session because of rain, it was totally worth it! We had the most beautiful weather this week and it was well worth the wait!
