We are so grateful to have made it home safely from our missions trip to Romania! We are still working on getting adjusted to the time here and the jet lag is in full swing at our house.

We had an amazing time serving the needy in some of the poorest villages in Romania this year! We visited orphanages, many gypsy villages, and the children’s hospital in Oradea (where my little sister-in-law was adopted from – her story is a an amazing testimony of love, so feel free to ask me about it if you’d like to know more).
I have to say, I missed the Romanian food SO MUCH! If you follow me on social media, you probably saw all the food images I posted to Instagram and Facebook. No shame over here! I probably gained a few extra pounds while in Romania but it was all worth it!
I wanted to share some of the images I took this year in one of the gypsy villages we did ministry in. I hope you enjoy them!

The gypsy church!
People were waiting outside while VBS was taking place inside the church.
Each family received bread and a bag of medicine after the church service. Some villages are so poor that they can’t find bread anywhere in the village.
The children wanted me to take a picture of them, and then Nathanael decided to photobomb them.
