The Trivium is an exquisite wedding venue located in Forest, Virginia where Alyssa and Daniel chose to celebrate their dream wedding. From the beautiful outdoor ceremony to the extravagant ball room reception, their big day was filled with laughter and happiness. It was in 2003 that Alyssa moved to Lynchburg, Virginia from North Carolina and met Daniel. Although they attended the same school, worked in the same veterinary office, and even went to the prom with mutual friends as dates, they did not begin dating until these same friends kept telling them how “cute” they would be together.
Daniel eventually asked Alyssa out, and although she was skeptical about dating in high school, she followed her heart and said “yes” – the rest is history! We had an amazing time doing the wedding photography for this sweet couple. The Trivium Estate provided beautiful surroundings and photo opportunities for our bride and groom.
The Trivium in Forest, VA is one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Central Virginia. Make sure to give them a call to schedule your tour.

-FROM THE BRIDE-
We LOVED Daniel’s proposal so much that we wanted to share it with all our readers. Here is what the bride herself had to say:
“It was a Friday night in October 2012 and Daniel wanted me to come to Williamsburg as soon as I got out of class to go on a nice dinner date ‘just because’. We love going on Friday date nights to kick off the weekend! He had made a reservation at a particularly nice restaurant in colonial Williamsburg this time which was kind of unusual, but I was excited and didn’t think too much of it (from time to time you have to splurge a little!). I got out of class late and traffic was bad so I barely made it to Williamsburg in time for us to make our reservation, but Daniel was also insistent we take a walk around before going to the restaurant. I was just interested in going to dinner, but I obliged and we often like to walk around colonial Williamsburg so again I didn’t suspect anything. We were taking our walk and after a few minutes I kind of got a sense Daniel was on a mission because he was not being as laid back as usual (usually we just walk where ever but he seemed to be looking for something). I was close to saying we really should head to the restaurant, when we came upon a building that had a nice big porch. Daniel says “Let’s go up there” or something, and before I knew it he pulled from his jacket a CVS prescription bottle with a label he had made himself. It had my name on it and the directions were to “Wear once a day, every day for a happy life together” and he was the prescriber! The ring was inside. I knew right away and everything changed from then on. The rest of the evening was just amazing. We went to our dinner and had the best time sitting outside, splitting a bottle of wine, etc. Eventually we went and found a bench to call and tell our closest family/friends. Only my parents and his parents knew ahead of time. Then we had the rest of the weekend to enjoy calling each other fiancé and I loved having a ring on my finger. It was just the best!”
Stunning! Love everything! The venue, the colors, the style, the angles. Just stunning.
The photographers did an awesome job!
What a beautiful, fun wedding. The two of you are ADORABLE together. Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness.
