West Manor Estate opened their doors to celebrate Lauren and Wayne’s wedding this past Saturday in Forest, Virginia. Their day was filled with both laughter and tears of joy as the two art students became husband and wife. They first met at Radford University in 2009 during their drawing class, and almost 6 years later, one of their professors from art school performed a unity “paint” ceremony and a special reading at their beautiful West Manor Estate wedding. It was beyond beautiful! Words cannot describe how well everything fell into place at Lauren and Wayne’s wedding. Not even the rain stopped the two from having a smile across their faces the entire day. Moreover, I heard Lauren say that the rain might have been a blessing in disguise… and I truly believe it was. We got the most gorgeous sky for our sunset pictures.
Lauren and Wayne, thank you so much for trusting us with your wedding day! We loved every minute of it and we wish you guys only the best as you start this new chapter together!
The West Manor Estate was established nearly 200 years ago. The estate is a piece of history that impresses through its grand and majestic view!
Ahhh! My jaw dropped when I saw this amazing bridal suite for the first time. I meaaan… this is sheer perfection!
My stunning bride getting all pampered up! Isn’t she just gorgeous?!!!
Those shoes… to die for!
Bloom by Doyle’s did a fantastic job creating the most perfect bridal bouquet for my beautiful bride! Lauren’s mom told me that they had bought this handkerchief from Belgium many years ago for her to have on her wedding day. It doesn’t get more special than that!
Wayne, my super talented groom, designed and screen printed these incredible wedding invitations by hand. Feel free to visit his website to see more of his work!
This beautiful wedding cake by La Bella Torta was one of the most delicious cakes I have tasted. I may or may not have had an extra slice by the end of the night :) And, of course, the beautiful centerpieces below were designed by the very talented Bloom by Doyle’s.
This is the first time I witnessed a unity paint ceremony. Such an original idea!
Lauren’s dad couldn’t have been more proud walking his daughter down the aisle!
Lauren and her dad shared one of the most beautiful father-daughter dances I have ever witnessed.
We managed to capture a few bride and groom portraits right before the rain started!
Many thanks to the amazing team that made this day run flawlessly!
