I’ve been looking forward to Alyssa and Chris’ 1757 Golf Club wedding for a while now! I met Alyssa last year, after we moved to Northern Virginia. She’s such an amazing young lady! I was so excited when she asked me to photograph her wedding.
Alyssa and Chris met at Liberty University. Chris saw her sitting by herself in the cafeteria and asked if he could sit with her. That was the start of their friendship. Chris proposed at the peak of Sharp Top Mountain in Blue Ridge, VA. He couldn’t have picked a more beautiful place, if you ask me. Alyssa was totally surprised!
The couple is going to be honeymooning in Florida later this year. They will be spending time at Clearwater Beach and Disney World in Orlando. I have to admit that I’m a bit jealous! Florida is such a fantastic destination!!
Alyssa and Chris, I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to document your gorgeous 1757 Golf Club wedding! It was such an incredible time, filled with so much joy and laughter. I wish you guys the best in this new adventure together!
First of all, how beautiful is this Maggie Sotterro gown?! I’m absolutely in love with that subtle blush tone in the skirt. Also, I got to “officially” photograph my first Ashley Grace Bridal wedding dress!! While I’ve done many sessions for Ashley Grace in the past, this was the first time I got to photograph one of their dresses at a real wedding.
Alyssa got ready in one of the most beautiful locations I have ever photographed at! This place was spacious and had an abundance of natural light. Every photographer’s dream :)
Most of all, I love this sweet moment between Alyssa and her mom!
Also, how beautiful are all of these ladies?! And those bridesmaids dresses… SO gorgeous!
Finally, many thanks to the amazing team of vendors who helped make this 1757 Golf Club wedding a success!
