I had the best time taking Elizabeth and Matthew’s engagement photos in Winchester, Va this week! It felt like I had known them forever. They are such a fun couple to be around!
I first met Elizabeth at one of the beautiful Sierra Vista weddings I photographed a couple of years back. Fast forward to today, I got to photograph her amazing engagement session and I can hardly wait for her wedding later this year!!
This sweet couple has been together for nearly 4 years. Matthew proposed by taking Elizabeth on a scavenger hunt all around their favorite spots in Winchester. He ended up proposing on the beautiful hill overlooking John Handley High School, the same school Elizabeth attended. For the second part of their engagement session, we drove back to this very spot and took some photos. Make sure to check my Instagram to see more pictures!
These two are planning on having two weddings, one in Winchester and one in Texas, where Matthew is originally from. If you are familiar with our story, you know that I can relate to having multiple weddings. Tim and I had a civil ceremony in Romania, followed by our church ceremony and reception a few months later. Then, after I moved to the States, we had another ceremony and reception here for his family and friends.
I’m so excited that they chose me to photograph their Winchester wedding! I can hardly wait!
For their engagement photos in Winchester, VA, we met at the Handley Library. Can you believe how beautiful this place is?! From here, we drove to John Handley High School and took more photos in the spot where Matthew proposed.
