I am so excited about these Alexandria wedding photos! Last year, we decided to expand our team and offer associate wedding collections. What this means is that our associate photographers photograph the wedding, while I photograph the engagement session and edit the images from both. That way both galleries are consistent with my editing style.
We tend to get 4-5 inquiries for some of the most popular wedding dates. While we wish that we could photograph all of the amazing couples that reach out to us, our associate collections are the only way that we can serve an engaged couple if we are already booked on their wedding day. I took Tyler and Nicole’s Washington DC engagement photos last year and I knew right away that my team would love working with them as well. They are sweet, kind, and genuine.
Their Story
Their story began on a blind date almost 6 years ago in Arlington, Virginia at one of their favorite restaurants. They spent four hours sitting and talking until the restaurant closed… even though they both had to be up very early for work the following morning. After that night, they spent almost every day together that their busy schedules would allow.
The Proposal
Tyler’s proposal came as a complete surprise (even after being together for almost 5 years!). They had spent a romantic and relaxing evening cooking a delicious dinner while the sun set. That was when Tyler got down on one knee and proposed. The following night, he took Nicole to her favorite restaurant in DC to celebrate. How sweet is that?!
Together, they planned a beautiful intimate wedding in Arlington, VA. The ceremony took place at the Waterfront Park, followed by a gorgeous reception at Virtue Feed and Grain. Shortly after the wedding, they headed off to Hawaii for their honeymoon.
