If you’re looking for some great business books for photographers to add to your reading list this year, you’re in the right place! Here are my top 5 books to kickstart the new year!
1. Atomic Habits by James Clear
Atomic Habits is a great book on how to create great habits and break bad ones so that you can get 1% better every day. The simple strategies presented in this book are super easy to follow and implement. Definitely worth a read!
2. Two Weeks Notice by Amy Porterfield
Two Weeks Notice doesn’t come out until February, but I was lucky enough to get an advance copy a couple of months ago. If you’re looking to go full time with your business this year, then you’re going to love Amy’s step-by-step strategies on how to do so successfully.
3. How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Next on my business books for photographers list is How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. This book is gold! I truly believe that every single person needs to read this book at one point or another. One person said it best: “This book is all about building relationships. With good relationships, personal and business success are easy.”
4. The Gap and the Gain by Benjamin Hardy and Dan Sullivan
I got this one as a Christmas gift and I’m definitely excited about reading it. It has come highly recommended. The main idea of the book seems to be centered around the fact that unsuccessful people focus on “The Gap”, while successful people focus on “The Gain”.
5. The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
This is another one of those books that has come highly recommended. The title alone is very intriguing for any entrepreneur out there. The central theme seems to be that highly effective people focus on what they can control and influence, instead of what they can’t. I’ve already purchased it and it’s sitting on my night stand to be read.
