Last week’s Carter Mountain Orchard engagement photos were so much fun to edit! I couldn’t wait to share them on the blog today!! Tom and Natasha are such an amazing couple, and their wedding in Arlington, VA in April can’t come soon enough. I am so excited to photograph at the Alexandrian Hotel for the first time!
How They Met
Natasha and Tom met on the rooftop of Madam’s Organ in Adams Morgan. They were both out in Washington D.C. having a fun night with their friends. As Tom was about to head downstairs from the rooftop, he saw the most beautiful woman from two tables over. Without hesitation, Tom walked up to Natasha and her friends with considerable swagger and delivered the greatest conversation starter ever: “Do oranges have seeds?” After debating for a while, they hit it off and bonded over their love of Blue Moon and their interest in travel, having just return from trips to Switzerland and Dubai. Since that night, they have shared many memories and are beyond excited to spend the rest of their lives together! What a beautiful love story!!
How He Proposed
“Tom proposed in the place that’s been home to us for almost two years now and means the world to us, in Old Town Alexandria! We were on our way to dinner for our two-year anniversary, and Tom suggested we stop by one of our favorite parks near the waterfront at sunset to take a picture – and that’s where he popped the question!”
What are you most excited about?
“After lots of time spent apart from loved ones during the pandemic, we’ll be so excited to get all of our favorite people in the same room together, and have them be there to celebrate w/ us on the best day of our lives. We want to capture our love for each other, the excitement of the day, and all the candid moments that will be in our memory for the rest of our lives.”
