A downtown engagement session is always a favorite of mine! Even though I don’t get to shoot there all the time, I love when couples choose this spot for their photos. That’s exactly what Mackenzie and Chris did, and it turned out to be such a fun and beautiful day. Mackenzie said she wanted her engagement photos to have more of a city feel with tall buildings and brick walls. That made me so happy because it reminded me of my hometown in Romania.
We met downtown and had such a great time walking around, laughing, and taking photos. Mackenzie and Christ were so natural in front of the camera. They even had a special guest, their dog Tarzan, join them for a few pictures. And he was just the cutest thing! He looked right at the camera like he knew exactly what was going on. What a good boy!
This downtown Lynchburg engagement session was even more special because Mackenzie and Chris are both serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. It means so much that they trusted me to capture this exciting time in their lives. They are getting married at the beautiful Sorella Farms in Evington next May, and I couldn’t be more honored to document their love. It’s such a beautiful place, and I can already imagine how amazing their wedding is going to be. Mackenzie you are already glowing, and I just know you’re going to be a stunning bride. I seriously can’t wait to see you walk down the aisle!
