I had no idea how beautiful Moneta was until I started photographing the Rogers family two years ago! We’ve known them for years and they are very dear to our hearts. Stephanie, Derek, Catherine and Dustin have been on missions trips with us to Romania a number of times, and Dustin actually officiated our wedding ceremony almost 5 years ago. It’s crazy how fast time flies!!
I was so excited to get a text from Stephanie asking if I was available to do their family pictures again this year! All the siblings (and their families) gather together once a year at their parents’ house in Moneta, Virginia. Let me just tell you how beautiful Moneta is during fall season!! The day of their session was filled with the most perfect sunset and we had the most gorgeous lighting during the golden hour.
I loved photographing all the individual families, as well as taking a beautiful group shot of all three generations at the end. The grandparents, in particular, were absolutely stoked about having their photos taken with their beloved grandchildren. This year the children behaved extraordinarily well!! I was amazed at how much they’d grown over the course of a year.
Rogers family, thank you so much for allowing me to create such beautiful memories for you this year! I know you are going to cherish these images for many years to come!
