First of all, this Farmington Country Club wedding is going in the books as one of my all time favorites!
As Mandi’s grandfather joined the club many years ago, the property became an amazing second home for the family. Moreover, Mandi’s aunt was married there, her parents had their reception there, and her cousin had her rehearsal dinner there as well.
Farmington is one of the most special places for Mandi, so it was only fitting that she have her wedding there. And let me just tell you, it did not disappoint!
Everything was flawless! From the beautiful outdoor ceremony, to the stunning reception, everything was perfect. Even the rain held off until we were done with all the portraits! Talk about great timing :)
If you don’t know Mandi and Brent, they met at Virginia Tech where they were both studying animal science. They stayed together through Brent’s Law and MBA schooling at the University of Richmond. Brent proposed on Gapstow Bridge in Central Park, surrounded by their family and friends. It couldn’t have been more perfect than this!
Mandi and Brent want to travel around Europe for their honeymoon. They plan to do so when Brent finishes his clerkship in 2019. Anyone else jealous of their plans?! I know I am :)

Can we just talk about Mandi’s wedding dress for a second?! It’s one of the most beautiful and unique dresses I have ever seen in my entire career! Also, these Michael Kors shoes are to die for!
Ahhh! The daddy-daughter first look has to be one of my favorite moments at a wedding!
Mandi and Brent had one of the largest bridal parties I have ever photographed: twelve groomsmen and ten bridesmaids.

Another reason why I love these two is because they rocked their bride and groom portraits in the rain! Can you tell that it was actually raining when we took these photos?!
Also, towards the end of the night, we sneaked out for a few night time portraits. It was absolutely worth it!
Finally, their sparkler exit was perfect, and the rain stopped just in time for their departure!
