This Liberty University graduation photo session is very special to me! Not just because of the milestone Kate is celebrating, but because of the relationship behind it.
I first met Kate two years ago during Local Church Emphasis Day at Liberty, when I was there with Anchor Church, our church plant here in Lynchburg, VA. Kate joined the Anchor family shortly after and has been serving on our worship team ever since. She is the kind of person who is not only incredibly talented, but also genuinely beautiful inside and out. And these pictures are proof of that! 😍
Getting to photograph her Liberty University graduation photo session was extra special for me, but also a little bittersweet. Kate has been such a sweet friend for the past couple of years, and while I’m excited for her accomplishment, I’m also sad that she’s leaving the Lynchburg area. After graduation, Kate is heading back home to Texas, where she’s originally from. While I’m so excited for what’s ahead for her, it’s hard to imagine Sundays without her. She’s been such a blessing to our church family, and she will be deeply missed. (Kate, please come back and visit!!)
Kate, I hope these photos always bring you back to this session. Not just the accomplishment, but the people, the growth, and everything God has done in your life during your time here. This graduation session is just the beginning of what’s ahead for you, and I already know it’s going to be something special.
