Liberty University graduation photos are one of my favorite things to shoot these days. There’s something so special about capturing the excitement right before students step into a brand-new chapter. Whether you’ve been studying on campus or you’re an online student making the trip to Lynchburg for commencement, this moment is worth remembering!
I recently got to take Maria’s graduation photos, and it was so much fun! She graduated from the School of Music and has been helping lead worship at our church in Lynchburg, VA (Anchor Church). So this was extra special for me!
She even brought her two puppies along for the session, which made her Liberty University graduation photos that much better! Maria is one of those people who lights up any room, fun, energetic, and just full of joy. I loved every second of taking her photos!
There are so many great spots around Liberty’s campus for graduation photos, but DeMoss Hall is definitely one of the most popular, and for good reason! The wide steps and classic architecture give that perfect graduation feel. I also love shooting by the fountain or in front of the Freedom Tower.
Most Liberty University graduation sessions I offer are quick and fun, usually 20-30 minutes. That gives us plenty of time to get a mix of classic shots in your cap and gown, plus some that feel a little more personal (or your next Linked in profile photo). Feel free to bring your puppy as well, just like Maria did. These sessions are all about celebrating you and the journey that got you here!
