For her Liberty University graduation photos, Anusha traveled all the way from Texas. And I have to say, all of these new graduation sessions at Liberty University have quickly become some of my favorite things to photograph. I’ve spent so many years capturing weddings, beautiful gowns, emotional vows, and first dances… but lately, there’s something so special about photographing graduates in their caps and gowns.
When I first started offering Liberty University graduation pictures, I thought it would feel like a normal portrait session. But wow, was I wrong! There’s something about the energy on campus during graduation season. You can almost feel the joy bouncing off the walls (and let’s be honest, a little relief too… those college years aren’t easy!). In fact, every student I’ve met has their own story to tell, and that’s my favorite part.
Some grads want photos with their best friends, laughing and tossing their caps in the air. Others bring their parents or fiancé, proud to celebrate this huge milestone together. I’ve even had a few bring their dogs, which always makes things extra fun. No matter what, every session feels a little different, and that’s what makes things exciting!
I usually meet students in front of DeMoss for their Liberty University graduation pictures. It’s literally the BEST spot on campus for graduation photos. That beautiful light in front of the white columns is hard to beat! Just scroll down and you’ll see what I mean. Whether I photograph here early in the morning or late in the day, the pictures always turn out amazing! So, you really can’t go wrong here.
If you’re graduating soon and thinking about booking Liberty University graduation photos, my best advice is: do it! Bring your cap, gown, and maybe a friend or two. Don’t worry about posing perfectly, I’ll help with that! Make sure to reach out a few months in advance to ensure I have availability on my calendar. Click here to book your spot.
