I had such a great time taking these Lynchburg engagement pictures for Lauren and Shaun. Their story is so fun! They actually met at a Liberty University video game night, where they were playing Rockband together. I mean, how fun is that? A couple who can laugh and have fun right from the start is always a joy to work with! It really sets the tone for our whole session.
The Proposal
Shaun took Lauren to the community college he went to in Ohio, which has this beautiful outdoor area with a couple of ponds. It was the perfect, peaceful spot for him to pop the question. Of course, Lauren said YES!
As we walked around Riverside Park capturing their Lynchburg engagement pictures, Lauren shared a little bit about their wedding plans. They are going for more of a rustic style with the ceremony tucked away in the woods and the reception in the beautiful barn of Sorella Farms. But honestly, what she’s most excited about is just spending time with family and celebrating together. After all, that’s what weddings are really all about, right?! The people who mean the most.
Lauren said she chose Alina Thomas Photography because she loves my light and airy style, which was such a kind compliment. I’m always so grateful when couples trust me to tell their story through photos, especially when it’s such an important day.
