-LYNCHBURG WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER-
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
Happy Thanksgiving friends, both old and new! I can’t believe it’s that time of the year yet again. There are so many things that we need to be thankful for, and one thing I love about this holiday is that it makes us stop for a second and count our blessings. I have so many things to be thankful for! Timothy and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary yesterday (WooHoo!), we are all healthy, we have an amazing almost 2 year old son, we just moved into our new house, and the list could go on and on. But I just wanted to take a second to thank all of my amazing clients for trusting me with one of the most important days in their lives this year. I had the opportunity to photograph so many precious moments this year, and I just want you all to know that I am so very grateful for you! My journey as a Lynchburg wedding photographer wouldn’t be possible without you. Through you, my clients, I had the opportunity to work with some amazing wedding vendors this year as well. From wedding venues, to florists, coordinators, bakers and so on, I got to meet some really wonderful people with whom I cannot wait to work with again next year! Thank you! Thank you for your trust and I hope that you enjoy your wedding photos for many years to come!
I just want to share with you some of my favorite images that I photographed in Lynchburg and all over Virginia this year! I hope you enjoy them.
Lindsay did a “first-look” with her mom and it was SO beautiful! This was the first time I had the opportunity to witness this and it was so incredibly special!
First-look with dad is also a new concept and I absolutely love it when brides decide to do a first-look with dad as well.
This might be one of the most important images I captured this whole year and it reminds me once again why I do what I do. Addison had a very special relationship with her hubby’s grandfather. Shortly after the wedding he passed away. This remains one of my favorite images of all times!
Outdoor ceremonies are some of my favorites! Bonus points if they have mountain views!
This particular ceremony was very special. Mindy’s dad, Dr. Brooks, officiated the ceremony and it brought me to tears. Definitely one of the most heart-felt ceremonies I’ve ever had the privilege of attending. You can check this post from Mindy and Derek’s wedding at Sierra Vista in Bedford, Va to see more pictures that will touch your heart.
Shot the largest bridal party to date this year, 12 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen. And it was so.much.fun too!
I absolutely love the bell ringing tradition they have at Sierra Vista. The couple gets to ring the bell after the ceremony ends.
I have to admit that the above collage is pretty epic. Sallie and Chris’ wedding at Sorella Farms in Evington, Va was a lot of fun.
Some of my favorite moments at a wedding are the first dance, the father-daughter dance, and the mother-son dance. There is just something magical about them!
Thank you, sweet friends, for allowing us to be a part of your day! We are so thankful for each and every one of you and want to wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving!
These photos make me want to get married all over again <3 beautiful!
Aww! You are too sweet, Alexandra!
These are absolutely beautiful! Great job on all the photos. Love the first look ones of the groom being silly behind the bride!
