Mindy and I have been planning her maternity session for months! Knowing that she and Derek were coming to Lynchburg to visit her family, we figured it was the perfect time!
The Brooks have been one of my all time favorite people to work with! I had the honor to photograph Mindy and Derek’s wedding at Sierra Vista in Bedford, Virginia last year and I cannot tell you enough about how wonderful Mindy’s parents are. Dr. Brooks, Mindy’s dad, officiated the ceremony. I’m going to be honest with you, I don’t usually cry at weddings, but this time I had to keep wiping my tears away, that’s how beautiful and heart-felt their ceremony was.
Mindy chose to have her maternity photos taken at one of the most gorgeous locations in Lynchburg, the Old City Cemetery. Seriously, this place is incredibly beautiful all year around, even more so in the fall. But you don’t have to take my word for it, keep scrolling down and you’ll see what I mean!
