Brady and Ashley’s Monument Terrace session in downtown Lynchburg was such a joy to photograph! From the moment I met them, I knew working with them was going to be a dream. Their love and connection made every shot feel completely natural. I hardly had to direct them into poses. They were so natural in front of my camera, and I could feel their love radiating throughout the entire session.
These two have a love story that’s been almost a decade in the making. They met back in high school at a football game, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Now, nine years later, they’re about to tie the knot. Brady proposed in the sweetest way, one day after their anniversary, covering the living room in roses and surprising Ashley with breakfast. How could that not melt your heart?!
During their Monument Terrace session, it was easy to see how well they know and understand each other. They were so comfortable together, laughing and enjoying every moment, which made my job so much easier. It’s sessions like these that remind me why I love capturing love stories. Getting to document the little glances, big smiles, and everything in between is truly an honor.
I absolutely cannot wait for their wedding day! They are doing something a little different with an intimate ceremony at Vaughan House and a big reception at Cedar Oaks the following day, which I’m so excited to photograph. Cedar Oaks is where they first heard about me, and I can’t wait to be part of their special day at such a beautiful venue.
Brady and Ashley, thank you for choosing me to capture your journey. Your Monument Terrace session was just the beginning, and I can’t wait to celebrate with you soon!
