Today I’m going to teach you how to turn Instagram captions into blog posts! That’s right, I’m giving away my secret hack for writing blog posts quickly.
Before I teach you how I do that, I want to share with you another super easy tip that you can implement today to up your word count in blog posts. If you read last week’s blog post all about How to Optimize Blog Posts for SEO, you know that it’s important to write at least 300 words for a blog post to rank high in Google searches. One thing I’ve been doing over the years, is to send my couples a “Getting to Know You Questionnaire”. This helps me in 2 ways:
1. I get to learn new things about my couples that I can expand on during our engagement session. It gives us something to chat about in between poses and helps create genuine interactions.
2. I can repurpose my couples’ answers when I write blog posts. Normally, I share their engagement story in their engagement blog post, and more about how they met and their vision for their wedding in their wedding blog post.
Sometimes, you might get super short answers and don’t really have much to work with. So what do you do then? What do you write about? Let’s be honest, you’re a photographer, not a writer. Well, I’m going to show you how you can turn Instagram captions into blog posts. Here’s an example!
If you’ve enrolled in my Wedding Photography Caption Toolkit, you know that I give you 2+ months of done-for-you Instagram captions. You can literally use them to easily write blog posts, in addition to posting on social media. Here’s an actual blog post I wrote simply by repurposing Instagram captions:
On the right, are the original captions from the Wedding Photography Caption Toolkit, and on the left are the captions I turned into blog post paragraphs. This blog post took under 10 minutes to put together and will now rank on Google for years to come.
And that, my friend, is how you turn Instagram captions into blog posts so that you can write blog posts in minutes. Want to start writing blog posts without the stress and overwhelm? Snag my Wedding Photography Caption Toolkit, and let’s make that a reality!
