This Old City Cemetery engagement session is going to take your breath away! James and Maria were so great to work with. I am so happy that the rain held off for their engagement photos since they live over 3 hours away from Lynchburg. They drove down to the Lynchburg area when there were still 50% chances of rain during their engagement session. If you are local to Lynchburg, VA you already know that the past week has been a whirlwind. We’ve had so much rain lately that we are all probably wishing summer was still here. When we arrived at the Old City Cemetery, the sun was starting to set which allowed us to capture the beautiful golden light. James and Maria are getting married at Sorella Farms in Evington, Virginia next year and I couldn’t be happier to celebrate with them this special day in their lives! Thank you, guys for choosing Alina Thomas Photography to document your love! It is truly a privilege to be your wedding photographer!
This tree was worth the drive to the Old City Cemetery in Lynchburg, Virginia for James and Maria’s engagement photos! I mean, just look at it… it might be my new favorite spot to photograph engagements.
Ahhh… she is SOOO incredibly gorgeous! I cannot wait to photograph her in her wedding dress.
not sure if I have said it…. but i freaking love you!!! <3 <3 <3
Aww… you are too sweet, Maria! I had so much fun working with you and James and I cannot wait for your wedding next year!
These pics are beautiful! The expressions are genuine and the connection is obvious!
Also a great lesson about the weather! Don’t cancel sessions with 50% chance of rain! lol.
Haha! That is so true, Corey. I wouldn’t have minded a little rain towards the end though. It would have made for some amazing pictures.
WOW!! Talk about a leap of faith…it clearly worked out for you guys! These images are so lovely! I love the connection that they have in the photos!
Thank you, Anna! They are a fantastic couple. Cannot wait for their wedding at Sorella Farms next year.
