Daniel and Tryphena’s Old City Cemetery engagement session was such a blast! They traveled all the way from Northern Virginia for their engagement pictures and I couldn’t be more thankful. They are such a sweet couple!
I first met Daniel at his brother’s wedding a couple of years ago, and I am so excited that he and Tryphena chose me to be their wedding photographer as well. It’s going to be so much fun photographing couples and families that I already know. I am so incredibly honored!
How They Met
They officially met on a young adult hike a few months after Tryphena started attending Daniel’s church. But they didn’t really start talking or spending much time together until months later when he started going to a daily prayer service that she had been attending.
The Proposal Story
“We went on a picnic at the park where we had met exactly one year earlier. I forgot the picnic blanket so Daniel had to sprint back to the car to get it, which apparently helped with his nerves because I didn’t suspect a thing. He pulled off the perfect surprise.”
The Wedding Plans
“I envision a simple but joyful day. The ceremony is what is most important to us, since the church is at the center of our lives and is the reason we are together in the first place. Our family and friends have been so supportive and happy for us, so I’m also just so excited to get to celebrate with them.”
Tryphena and Daniel, thank you so much for traveling to Lynchburg for your Old City Cemetery engagement session! I had a blast getting to know you, guys, and I can’t wait for your wedding day! November can’t come soon enough!!
We laughed the entire time! They are such a fun couple to work with!
