The Old Pate Chapel is a popular wedding location here in Lynchburg and it was the perfect venue to end my 2021 wedding season at. Sarah and Hugh are such a sweet couple and I really enjoyed working with them. From their fall engagement photos last October, to photographing their Christmas themed wedding in December, it truly was an honor to capture it all. I know that Sarah and Hugh are going to treasure these memories for many years to come and I couldn’t be more excited for them!
Also, I have to say that their bridal party was one of the easiest bridal parties to work with. Such a fun bunch that made group pictures go as fast as possible. That’s always a plus in my book! What great friends!! I wish I could hire them for all my weddings haha.
Can we also talk about how beautiful the Old Pate Chapel and Bottling Co are?! Brides, if you’re planning your wedding here, just know that your reception pictures are going to be amazing! The Bottling Co has tons of windows which allow for natural light to flood the room. This is literally every photographer’s dream!! Also, in case of rain, both the reception area and the covered porch at the Old Pate Chapel are great for pictures. Such a win-win all around!
Without further ado, here are Sarah and Hugh’s Old Pate Chapel wedding photos. Scroll down to see my favorite images from their beautiful day!
Sparkly shoes are every bride’s best friend!
These two images put the biggest smile on my face while I was editing this wedding. I just love the way they looked at each other while Sarah was walking down the aisle. How sweet!
Hugh had the biggest smile on his face the entire time!
