The videos usually start with the tag line “X Amazon Products You Didn’t Know You Needed”, and then the creator shows you what those products are. In full transparency, I’ve ordered quite a few of the items other people have featured online. So, today I thought I’d share with you my top 5 Amazon products (that you didn’t know you needed).
1. Camera Phone Holder
If you’ve been wanting to take behind-the-scene videos without an assistant, then this tool is for you. This phone holder has a hot shoe that attaches to your camera so you can shoot all the BTS footage you need. Simply hit record and forget about it! How cool is that?!
2. Acrylic Blocks
I love using acrylic blocks to elevate certain parts of my detail shots (particularly the invitation suite) in order to give more depth to my images. They come in super handy when styling details on a wedding day. Here’s an example of an invitation suite shot without using acrylic blocks as risers, and one with the acrylic blocks. This is literally my hidden secret to shooting those sneaky reception photos in the middle of the dance floor when there’s nothing around me to bounce the flash off of.
