Randolph College in Lynchburg, VA was the perfect location for this February engagement session. Although the weather is pretty unpredictable here in Virginia, we seriously could not have asked for it to have been any better for Amanda and Ben’s photo session. We haven’t had this kind of gorgeous natural light since last summer, and I am so excited to kick off this year’s engagement season in such a fabulous way. Amanda and Ben brought along their puppy, Theo, for the session. Theo is only 8 months old and behaved extremely well. I don’t get to photograph dogs very often, but when my couples decide to bring their pups to their engagement session, I am always surprised how good they are in front of the camera. It’s like they know photography is a big deal. Ha! Amanda and Ben are getting married at the Boonsboro Country Club this summer, which holds a special place in Timothy’s heart, who used to play golf with his grandpa there before he passed away in 2013.
Beautiful engagement session! I love their choice of colors and pattern! Cute puppy too! Lynchburg is lucky to have you!

I thought it was gorgeous too, April. My brides are so stylish. Haha
