My Personal List of Recommended Photography Products
Macro Filters: I am a big fan of macro filters. They allow me to capture beautiful detail shots without the price tag of a macro lens. If you are curious to see how I use them, feel free to check out my article about how to use macro filters. Best thing?! They only cost around $10-$20!!
AA Rechargeable Batteries and Charger: These are a great way to save on batteries for your flashes. The Tenergy charger makes charging your batteries on the go seamless.
Yongnuo Speedlight: Whether you are just starting out or have been in business for a while, I highly recommend the Yongnuo speed light for all your off-camera lighting needs. They are extremely affordable and work like a charm. I’ve been using them ever since I started my business.
Reflective and Shoot-Through Umbrellas: Umbrellas are the most simple and versatile flash modifiers to use. With a reflective umbrella, you will use the inside of the umbrella to reflect light unto the subject. With a shoot-through umbrella, you will use the outside of the umbrella to light up your subject.
Video Light: If you want to add soft ambient light to your photos, a video light will help tremendously. You can also use a video light to help your camera focus when you find yourself shooting in a really dark situation.
Clear Umbrellas: They make for cute bride and groom photos on rainy days!
