Rust Manor House is an incredible wedding venue in Leesburg, Virginia! I recently had the opportunity to tour this gorgeous venue and I was amazed! If you are a photographer, you are going to love the beautiful white walls… every photographer’s dream, right?! If you are a bride, you are absolutely going to swoon over the bridal suite Rust Manor offers. It’s light, bright and spacious with a floor to ceiling mirror that is simply spectacular.

What makes your venue unique and special?
Our venue is unique and special because it is a historic manor house that can be used for events with almost everything included in the rental price. We use the house for cocktail hours, the grounds for the ceremony and the tent is included in the rental for receptions! We also include all tables and chairs for our clients’ events and allow them to arrive as early as 10 a.m. to begin getting ready and set-up for their big day! Along with these features, we also have our own catering department that is owned by NOVA Parks as well, called Great Blue Heron. They exclusively cater for our venues and their food is fantastic!
How many guests does your venue hold?
In the house we can host a seated reception for up to 65 guests and in the tent we can host up to 200 guests for a seated reception.
What services does your venue provide?
As a venue, we provide all chairs and tables for our clients’ events, a catering department through NOVA Parks, set-up of all tables and chairs for your event, assistance in the set-up and organization for your event, and a list of wonderful vendors that we work with for all of our clients. However, they are welcome to use any vendors they would like, aside from catering.
What is the biggest question brides ask about venues?
The biggest question brides ask us is if we include chairs and tables in the rental price and if we have a place for them to get ready, to which we can respond, yes! We do include all chairs and tables and we have a beautiful suite and cottage for our couples to use in the mornings.
Do you do events as well as weddings? If so, is the venue seasonal or year-round?
Yes, we do many other kinds of events, as well as weddings. We are a year round venue, however, we do take our tent down at the end of November for maintenance and put it back up at the end of March for our busiest seasons.
Any insider tips on choosing a venue?
Make sure to choose a venue with almost everything included so you do not have to deal with renting chairs, tables, forks, knives…etc. and here, at Rust Manor House, we have you covered!
Do you have any exciting plans for the future of the venue?
We are always working to improve our venue. We will be adding Air Conditioning to the tent for next July, August, and beginning of September, and we hope to have some of our pathways and drive in front of the house re-done soon!
Are there any trends that you absolutely love or would love to see brides leave behind?
We love the ‘first look’ trend! It allows for many of our couples to enjoy their cocktail hours!
If you could offer a bride looking for a venue one piece of advice, what would it be?
Don’t stress and find a venue where you get along with the people who work there. It is so much easier to work with your venue if everyone gets along and can communicate through the planning process!
