I am beyond excited to share this engagement session with you all for two reasons: I had the opportunity to photograph at Sierra Vista, one of the most gorgeous barn wedding venues in Virginia, and work with an amazing couple whose love story is very similar to ours. I’ve shot at Sierra Vista in Bedford many times before, but for the first time ever, I will be photographing Mindy and Derek’s wedding in July and I couldn’t be more excited! It’s going to be a great one, guys! I am not going to reveal too much, but one thing I can say is that Mindy’s dad is going to officiate the ceremony. How sweet is that?! It’s moments like these that make me realize how blessed I am to be documenting such special times in my couples’ lives. Mindy and Derek’s engagement session was a blast, and although we shot their engagement photos midday, they totally rocked their session!
