Am I the only one excited about spring engagement photos?! Spring is finally here, and so are the engagement sessions! My photographer heart is so full. I’ve been looking forward to warmer weather so I could start scheduling engagement sessions before the wedding season starts in full swing.
I met Anne Claire and Jon at Sorella Farms for an evening engagement session the other day. It was a gorgeous day with an even more gorgeous golden light. What I love about Sorella Farms is that, even though I shoot weddings and engagements there often, I always find new spots to photograph at and no two sessions look alike.
We started the session in this cute spot by the farmhouse where the light was so dreamy, then did an outfit change and went down to the pond. Anne Claire and Jon’s spring engagement photos, overseeing the beautiful pond, might just be my new favorite pictures I have taken at Sorella Farms.
As I was photographing Anne Claire’s engagement ring, I noticed something unique about it. The engagement ring and the wedding band were attached together and it looked SO pretty — just scroll down to see for yourself. Anne Claire told me that the ring belonged to Jon’s grandmother while the wedding band was from her grandmother. As someone who was also proposed to with a family heirloom, I believe her engagement ring has so much sentimental value and is so unique and special. I cannot wait to photograph it again on their wedding day!
Anne Claire and Jon, thank you so much for allowing me to document this special time in your life! I had a great time getting to know you better and cannot wait to photograph your wedding!
