Laurin and Melanie’s winter wedding at Glencliff Manor was amazing! From the beautifully curated detail shots, to the spontaneous outdoor ceremony in the rain (definitely a first for me), the entire day was a beautiful celebration unlike any other. This sweet couple has been a joy to work with from beginning to end. A few months ago, I had the privilege of taking their Vaughan House Greenhouse engagement photos which I absolutely loved. They are probably some of my favorite images of all time!
For the proposal, Laurin totally outdid himself:
“With the help of Melanie’s best friend I planned her engagement to be a surprise during our Disney World trip. She loves Belle and I knew it had to be when she met her. We were going to a character breakfast hosted by Belle the first morning so it was perfect timing. While Melanie was chatting with Belle, her friend (and maid on honor) slipped the ring box to me and I walked up and got down on one knee. She instantly said Yes!”
Laurin picked out the ring all by himself!! He knew that she liked the vintage inspired look and Melanie thought the ring he picked looked like a cameo which she absolutely loved. Without making you wait any longer, here are some of my favorite images from Laurin and Melanie’s winter wedding at Glencliff Manor in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Many thanks to the wonderful team of vendors who made this day possible!
