glencliff manor estateIt was such an honor to photograph Ariana and Jeff’s wedding at the beautiful Glencliff Manor Estate in Rustburg, Virginia this weekend. Although it was supposed to rain the whole day, it stopped just in time for their ceremony. What I love about Glencliff Manor is that no matter what the weather is like, they are always prepared. If you are looking for a wedding venue for your wedding, make sure to read the interview we did with them to find out more about Glencliff Manor.

Ariana and Jeff are both aviation students and it should come as no surprise that their wedding View full post »

lynchburg wedding photoBrittany and I have been communicating through emails even before she got engaged. When I received the email that Tyler had popped the question, we began meticulously planning all the details from the engagement pictures, to the wedding day! He had done such a beautiful job on picking the most gorgeous ring for his bride (you are going to see below what I mean). I loved working with these tw
o from the moment we met at their engagement session in Lynchburg, VA. They are so genuine and just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. View full post »

trump winery weddingsThomas and Lindsay’s Trump Winery wedding was absolutely breathtaking. If you are planning your own wedding, Trump Winery should definitely be on the top of your list. It’s gorgeous views overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains, paired with the exquisite wedding venue would make every bride and groom’s dream come true. I met my beautiful bride, Lindsay, and her 12 bridesmaids at the Albemarle Estate located at Trump Winery to photograph her getting ready portion of the day. Timothy joined Thomas and his groomsmen at the Albemarle Estate View full post »

marriedWhat a great experience it was to shoot at Walker’s Overlook in Maryland for the first time this past Saturday! From the moment we arrived we fell in love with this beautiful venue. When we woke up that morning and looked through our hotel window, we realized that it had rained the night before. By the time we left the hotel to head to the Walker’s Overlook, the sky had cleared and the sun had come out. Let me just tell you, this day could not have been more perfect for Tricia and Jeremiah’s outdoor wedding. View full post »

sierra vista wedding bedford vaThis beautiful Sierra Vista wedding was one of a kind! Mindy and Derek’s wedding was special in so many ways: from the spectacular ceremony view featuring the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background, to the ceremony itself, everything was nothing short of perfection! Dr. Brooks, Mindy’s dad, officiated the ceremony and it was the most beautiful service I have witnessed! I even got teary eyes, so it’s not a secret anymore that I cry at weddings. It was truly a privilege to be a part of this beautiful wedding and I love how welcoming the Brooks family made us feel throughout the entire day. View full post »

west manor estate brideWest Manor Estate opened their doors to celebrate Lauren and Wayne’s wedding this past Saturday in Forest, Virginia. Their day was filled with both laughter and tears of joy as the two art students became husband and wife. They first met at Radford University in 2009 during their drawing class, and almost 6 years later, one of their professors from art school performed a unity “paint” ceremony and a special reading at their beautiful West Manor Estate wedding. It was beyond beautiful! Words cannot describe how well everything fell into place at Lauren and Wayne’s wedding. Not even the rain stopped the two from having a smile across their faces the entire day. View full post »

wedding day at sorella farmsI’ve been waiting to photograph a wedding at Sorella Farms for a while now, and when Sallie told me she had chosen Sorella as her wedding venue, I could hardly contain my excitement! From the rustic reception barn, to the outdoor ceremony, Sallie and Chris’ wedding was one for the record books. Not even the rain stopped these two from enjoying their day to it’s fullest. The full rainbow that followed shortly after the rain left everyone  in awe over it’s beautiful colors. View full post »

Alina-Thomas-Photography-2Where do I even start? I absolutely ADORE these two! We’ve known them for less than a year, yet it feels like we’ve known them forever! I am so thankful for getting the chance to meet Addison and Chad and the honor of being part of their wedding day. Ever since their engagement session in Bedford, Virginia, we knew that there was something special about them and our personalities just connected. Addison and I may or may not have planned a double date without asking the husbands first. Haha! They must have enjoyed it too since only 2 weeks after their wedding we hung out again. bride and groomIt is always exciting to see where the beautiful weddings I get to photograph take me. For Sarah and Brian’s wedding, I traveled to Arrington, Virginia to one of the most breathtaking wedding venues I have ever seen. This was my first time photographing at the Oak Ridge Estate, and man do I want to go back! It was beyond exciting to help my friend Sherry, of Sherry Conrad Photography, shoot this exquisite wedding. Sherry asked me to shoot alongside her at Sara and Brian’s wedding as a sixteen person bridal party could definitely use two photographers. View full post »

snow couple session at sierra vistaAfter a full week of snow, we got even more snow on Saturday. I’ve been wanting to photograph a bride and groom at Sierra Vista in the snow for a while now, and when I saw that it started snowing on Saturday, I immediately texted Chelsey and together we planned a really quick photoshoot. I loved her Pnina Tornai wedding dress ever since I saw her wearing it at her wedding. I could not hide my excitement when she texted me about doing this session together! Although we expected it to be really cold outside, it actually wasn’t that bad when we arrived at Sierra Vista in Bedford, VA. View full post »
