Desman and Taylor’s River Creek Club wedding is on the blog and I couldn’t be more excited! They had the most beautiful wedding in Leesburg, VA surrounded by family and friends.
They first met at a cookout in college. It was a quick exchange as they were both meeting many people that day. Taylor and Desman reconnected years later when they ran into each other one day in Washington, DC. After talking, the two realized they both lived in Ashburn and decided to meet up for lunch! That was the beginning of a beautiful relationship!
What is the one thing that you love the most about each other?
Bride: I love his personality. I love how patient and caring he is. He’s so easy to communicate with no matter the topic of conversation. And he genuinely cares about the well being of those he loves.
Groom: Her smile. Even when she’s having a bad day, I can still get a smile out of her. She always finds a way to keep a smile on her face!
Tell me a little bit about your vision for the wedding. What are you most excited about?
We’re envisioning a relatively small wedding (80-100 guests, very intimate and personal, minimalist decor with an elegant touch. We’re most excited about the fact we’ll be husband and wife! But besides that, we’re excited about spending the special moment with family and friends.
How did you hear about me and why did you chose Alina Thomas Photography to photograph your wedding?
I found your website via google and instagram. We knew after talking to you on the phone that you were the photographer for us! Your welcoming personality is what sold us ! We wanted a photographer that we could feel comfortable with but also, someone who’s professional and knows her craft well.
