Kendall and Nathan’s GORGEOUS Stevenson Ridge wedding in Spotsylvania was truly a dream! Ever since I took their JMU engagement photos, I fell in love with their story.
Nathan and Kendall first met at Massaponax High School and began dating during their senior year. When he proposed, he had Kendall go on a scavenger hunt to all of their favorite spots in Fredericksburg. In the end, it led her back to Massaponax High School, where Nathan proposed. Isn’t this the sweetest and most thoughtful proposal ever?!
Kendall told me that they’ll be going to Aruba on their honeymoon. I may or may not be a bit jealous about that! :)
Their wedding day was one of the most beautiful summer days I have ever witnessed. Everything was flawless! From the beautiful sunny weather, to the gorgeous outdoor ceremony and spectacular reception, Stevenson Ridge totally outdid themselves with this stunning wedding!!
Although it was my first time photographing a wedding at Stevenson Ridge in Spotsylvania, VA, I fell in love with this venue from the time I arrived there. Before I even drove to the bride’s getting ready house, I peeked inside the reception hall. Everybody was working away to set up the room. And boy, did it turn out amazing!! I got to witness the talented team behind Good Earth Flowers finishing up the floral arrangements and they were amazing!!
Also, when I got to the getting ready house, Kendal gave me some of the most beautiful wedding details to photograph. I mean, just take a look at the shoes below! How stunning are they?! And her perfume even said Best Day Ever!! It doesn’t get much better than this!
