There’s nothing like a fall Virginia wedding! Especially when the wedding takes place at Sorella Farms. There’s just something magical about the Blue Ridge Mountains, pretty fall colors and a beautiful barn wedding venue.
One of my favorite things to do is to listen to my couples’ love stories. I love hearing how they met, how the groom proposed and all the little things in-between. On their first date, Casey and Brandon hiked the Sharp Top mountain and it started to snow. I mean, that doesn’t happen on anyone’s first date, does it?! To top it off, they got engaged in Central Park (NYC) in a horse drawn carriage last December. Brandon certainly outdid himself with that one.
While most wedding days can feel a little rushed, Casey and Brandon’s day was the complete opposite. Everything went according to plan, which was not a surprise knowing the Sorella Farms staff are always on top of their game, weekend after weekend. What was even better was that we had more than enough time to take all the family portraits, bridal party pictures and bride and groom photos before the reception started. Now, that’s my kind of wedding day!
Without further adieu, I want to introduce to you the new Mr. and Mrs. White! Their wedding was beyond beautiful!
Casey and Brandon had the perfect weather for a fall Virginia wedding! It wasn’t too hot or too cold, and the rain held off so that they could have their outdoor ceremony.
One of my favorite things to photograph is the bride and groom walking down the aisle after they are pronounced husband and wife! Such happy faces :)
Many thanks to the amazing team of vendors who made this day possible!
