KENNETH TURNED 2!
He’s been loving everything Mickey Mouse lately, so we threw him a Mickey Mouse Birthday Party!
The morning of his birthday party, after he woke up and came downstairs for breakfast, his face lit up at seeing all the Mickey Mouse decorations daddy and mommy had worked on the night before (till 2:30 a.m. might I add). But it didn’t matter, the expression on his face when he saw all of his guests at our house made it all worth it!
Our little baby is not a baby anymore, he’s a toddler! They say they grow up fast, but I didn’t know it was going to be THIS fast. I mean, where did time go? It feels like we just brought him home from the hospital yesterday and now he is 2 years old!
I might be biased, but this little guy is SO smart: he can count to ten, he recognizes numbers in an aleatory order, he knows most colors, he can name the farm animals (and some wild ones too) and tell you the noises they make, he even knows the ABC song and recognizes most of the letters of the alphabet. He’s definitely a smart cookie!
For his Mickey Mouse birthday party we had Geri’s Confections make him an adorable Mickey Mouse birthday cake! My friend and graphic designer Alexandra made him all the cute little decorations you are going to see below. Mommy had about 5 minutes to take these pictures before the guests arrived, but I promise to do better next year!
Delicious Mickey Mouse birthday cake by Geri’s Confections! Yummy! Daddy sure nailed this pinterest cupcake project! Couldn’t have done it any better myself!
And here he is: the birthday boy! The cutest little 2 year old I have ever seen!
Make sure to check out Kenneth’s first birthday party in case you missed it last year!
What a cutie! We threw my nephew a Mickey Mouse party for his 1st birthday. This year it’s all about trucks!
We had an “Old McDonald Had a Farm” birthday theme last year and Mickey Mouse this year. They are so much fun to plan!
This is so adorable! I bet he loved it so much.
So cute!! What a fun party theme
