Last weekend, I checked a dream wedding off my bucket list: I got to photograph a gorgeous modern Korean wedding!! Ahh, I was so excited! Glencliff Manor has the best weddings, and I was so excited to photograph Grace and Dalton’s wedding in Lynchburg, Virginia.
The proposal story
“He proposed to me on March 3rd, 2017 during our vacation to South Korea. On the first day we were there, we dressed up in traditional Korean clothing (hanbok) and took pictures at the palace. He told me to turn around so he could take a picture. When I turned around, he was on one knee.” – Grace
I mean… isn’t that the best proposal ever?! When Grace told me that they were going to wear hanbok for their modern Korean wedding, I was SO excited! Just wait until you see how amazing they looked on their wedding day!
The wedding day
Dalton and Grace’s wedding day was truly amazing! They had the best weather for their summer wedding which allowed them to have a beautiful outdoor reception. Their wedding was garden inspired. If you’ve ever been to Glencliff Manor, you know how gorgeous their outdoor receptions are, especially at night.
The newlyweds are honeymooning in Vienna and Budapest right now, and are getting to enjoy their full wedding gallery while still in Europe. All of my clients get all of their wedding photos back in 2 weeks or less!! The other day, Grace posted on social media that it was 2 AM in Budapest when her and Dalton were looking at their online gallery. Shortly after, she got to share her favorites from the day on her Instagram stories, which was so fun for me to see. I’m always curious to see which images my couples love the most! ☺️
