I am so thrilled about Micah and Andrew’s Skyline Drive engagement photos! When Micah emailed me, I knew I would absolutely love working with her. I soon discovered that Andrew and I shared the same birth country, Romania. As if this was not already exciting enough, soon after their engagement session I found out that my husband, Tim, and I had actually known his family for years. It’s funny how life works that way!
Andrew and Micah are both UVA students. Andrew is in graduate school and on the wrestling team, and Micah is in the medical school. Since they are both living in Charlottesville at the moment, we decided to pick a location between Leesburg and Charlottesville. Shenandoah National Park proved to be the middle ground between us, and boy, it did not disappoint! The Skyline Drive, a 105 mile road that runs the length of the entire National Park, simply took our breath away! I’ll always take a good view in my photos, and these Skyline Drive engagement photos are everything I could hope for and more!
We joked that we need to go back just to hang out because one hour was simply not enough. I do plan to take my family to visit the Shenandoah National Park, especially the Skyline Drive, once the wedding season slows down. It’s the perfect location for a day trip! In fact, there were so many tourists there that evening just hanging out and watching the sunset. It was amazing! I would definitely recommend this beautiful place, if you are ever in the area!
I mean, how cute can they be?! Micah’s dress was simply breathtaking as well.
