3 Pro Tips to Speed Up Your Social Media Workflow

Let me introduce you to my 3 pro tips to speed up your social media workflow! While social media is free, marketing the right way does take time and energy. And consistency, my friend, is the name of the game. Unless you post consistently, you won’t stay top of mind, and people will run towards your competition instead of you.

You’re leaving a lot on the table by not having a game plan when it comes to social media. But don’t worry, I’m here to help you plan and schedule all of your content in just 60 minutes a week. Does that sound doable? Let me show you how to do it!

1. The 3/10 Method (Choose Your Images)

Choose 10 categories that are related to your business that you’d like to share more about online. As a wedding photographer, it could be:

  1. weddings
  2. engagements
  3. bridal parties
  4. florals
  5. rings
  6. bridal shoes
  7. wedding venues
  8. wedding details
  9. personal
  10. favorite products*

* I teach you in this post how to get started with affiliate marketing by creating you own Amazon store as a resource for your photography clients.

Now that you have your top 10 categories, simply choose 3 pictures for each category, and just like that you now only have to post 3 images per category in one month. Isn’t that a lot more freeing than not knowing what to post each day?

2. Write Your Captions

Writing engaging captions that connect with your followers can be a lot of work. But it doesn’t have to be that way! If one of your biggest struggles is that you don’t know WHAT to post on social media to get more… leads, clients, engagement, then I got you covered.

Instead of writing “So-and-so’s wedding is featured on the blog”, say this:

instagram captions for photographersThat’s much better than “So-and-so’s wedding is featured on the blog.”, don’t you think? You have 2 options:

Write it Yourself: Retype the same sentence 20 times just to delete the whole thing anyways because you’re feeling stuck on what to say. Then end up not posting anything for days, even though you’ve wasted hours trying to come up with the perfect caption.

Hire a Copywriter: This sounds great, but it comes with a hefty price tag that as a small business owner you can’t really justify.

…Or, you could enroll in the Wedding Photography Caption Toolkit and get the best of both worlds. Already done-for-you captions written specifically for photographers. If this is right up your alley, click here to check it out!

3. Schedule Your Posts

You now have the entire content strategy on how to post on social media quickly and efficiently. You know how to choose the right images with the 3/10 method, and how to write engaging captions with the Wedding Photography Caption Toolkit. It’s time to get everything scheduled.
