LJ and Catherine’s Tower Club Wedding in Tysons Corner was one for the books! They beamed with happiness as they said their I DO’s in front of family and friends. From the beautifully curated details, to the heartfelt ceremony and fun reception, everything was flawless.
While it was my first time photographing at Tower Club in Tysons Corner, I absolutely loved it! Everything was so easily accessible. This is always a plus on a wedding day. The getting ready rooms, the ceremony site, and reception area are all connected. And my personal favorite? The 25-foot glass ceiling atrium. It was the perfect backdrop for Catherine and LJ’s ceremony.
From the very first time I met them, during their Battlefield Park engagement photos, I knew that Catherine and LJ were going to be a joy to work with. On HER wedding day, Catherine said to me “thank you so much for being here, it means a lot to me”! They really treated us like family and we really loved them for it.
Their story begins four years ago. Catherine met LJ, who was in the Navy at the time, online through a friend while he was on deployment overseas. They maintained their relationship online through chat and Skype for three months until he arrived home in Norfolk, Virginia. Four years later he proposed to Catherine on a beach in Nassau, Bahamas. Isn’t that just the best location for a proposal?!
