While it had rained most of the week, Tyler and Nicole’s Washington DC engagement photos couldn’t have turned out any better! We planned for a sunrise engagement session so we could beat the crowds at the Lincoln Memorial. It was so worth it! While we woke up super early that day, we had the most perfect morning light and no sign of rain! Win-win all around!
I loved walking around with Tyler and Nicole around some of DC’s most beautiful monuments. They are just the sweetest couple and I enjoyed getting to know them better!
Their love story started on a Tuesday night in Arlington, Va about five years ago. They met on a blind date where they spent four hours sitting and talking at a restaurant until it closed. They both had to be up very early for work the following morning, but that didn’t seem to count at the moment. After that night, they continued to spend almost every day together. Since then, they have moved four times and spent two years in Boston while Tyler completed his MBA. Later, they found themselves back in DC which is a city they both love and plan to call home for a while.
Tyler and Nicole are planning a casual wedding at the beautiful Virtue Feed and Grain in Old Town Alexandria, VA. They decided to have their wedding around DC since it is a good halfway point between both of their families. Nicole’s family is in Connecticut, while Tyler’s family is in Georgia. Since their families live so far apart, it will be great to have them all together to meet and get to know each other. Also, since they are both prior military, they have friends far and wide that they haven’t seen in a long time that they can’t wait to see and celebrate with.
Nicole and Tyler’s Washington DC engagement photos were a blast! I can’t wait for their big day next October!
