Hey, friends! Get excited because these Washington DC wedding photos are going to take your breath away. This is our second Friday wedding that we photographed this month, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! And if I’m being completely honest, I’ve loved having these Saturdays off and working on Fridays instead.
Neva and Isaac had a small wedding ceremony at National Harbor pier with their parents as witnesses back in April. Since they didn’t have a reception, they planned a big celebration this fall for their family and friends. And oh my goodness, was it fun!
We started our day with a few portraits by the Georgetown waterfront. Afterwards, we even got to take a few pictures with Isaac’s Corvette. Neva told us that he actually used to race before they got married. How fun is that?!
Then, we headed over to Stacy C. Sherwood Community Center for a quick tea ceremony, followed by a gorgeous wedding reception. I am a huge fan of incorporating cultural traditions into a wedding. I believe that it’s such a fun way to celebrate your heritage. So when Neva and Isaac told me that they were having a tea ceremony, I was SO excited!
Moreover, they had some of the best food I have ever tasted at their wedding! Tim even said to me “they have all of your favorite foods here”, so needless to say, our dinner was delicious! Thank you guys so much!!
Without further adieu, Here are Neva and Isaac’s Washington DC wedding photos! Enjoy!
Many thanks to the amazing vendor team who brought this Washington DC wedding to life!
