I can’t even begin to describe these beautiful Winchester wedding photos! Matthew and Elizabeth’s wedding was the perfect way to end this busy season. Also, they are a very special couple to me because they share a similar story to mine and Tim’s. Growing up in different states, they decided to have two weddings so all their close family and friends would be able to attend.
While they got married in Texas the week before, they also planned a special celebration for Elizabeth’s family in Winchester. I’m so thankful to have been able to document this special time in their lives!
We met at the Handley Regional Library in Winchester, VA to take some romantic portraits before their reception at the George Washington Hotel later that evening. First of all, this amazing library could pass for a castle on any given day, and it made for some amazing photos. Second of all, I shot Matt and Elizabeth’s engagement photos at this very location earlier this year. My heart skipped a beat when they told me that they would like to go back to this spot for their Bride & Groom photos!
I definitely fell in love with the Handley Library when I photographed their engagement photos in Winchester for the first time a few months ago. Isn’t this the most beautiful building you’ve ever seen?! I wish I could photograph here every single weekend!
Matthew and Elizabeth, I hope your Texas wedding was just as beautiful as your Virginia wedding. Your Winchester wedding photos were the perfect way to end my wedding season this year. I’m beyond honored to have been there for you! Now, hurry up and move back to Virginia :)
Gahhh… how beautiful are they?!
Seriously, guys! Is this a library or a castle?! Handley Library, you are absolutely spectacular!
These beautiful Winchester wedding photos were the perfect way to end this wedding season! Congrats, Matthew and Elizabeth!
