Glencliff Manor wedding pictures don’t get much prettier than this spring wedding filled with so much beauty and color. What a dream it was to photograph! I always love going back to Glencliff every year. This property is truly one of a kind with all the flowers and perfectly curated landscape. It truly offers so many photo opportunities all in one place.
Desirée and Matt met online, and after talking on and off for a few months, Matt finally asked her on a last minute date one evening in August 2021. That spontaneous decision turned into a five hour first date where they closed the restaurant down talking.
From the beginning, their relationship felt natural and easy. That same feeling carried into their wedding day.
The Proposal
“I had lightly thought about ideas of where to propose but nowhere stood out. We planned a trip to Charleston, SC this year and it felt like the right time. A little romantic getaway that would give our proposal a special place forever.” – Matt
“He was so thorough and thoughtful with planning every little detail to be special. I could not have asked for a better day.” -Desirée
The Vision
Their vision for the wedding was centered around springtime, and it came to life beautifully at Glencliff Manor. The bridesmaids wore different colored dresses that tied everything together in such a fun and elegant way. Glencliff Manor wedding pictures during springtime always feel timeless with all the blooms and soft colors on the property.
Desirée shared that one of the reasons they chose Alina Thomas Photography was because they wanted someone who would help them feel comfortable in front of the camera. That means so much to me because I know wedding days can sometimes feel overwhelming or staged. My goal is always to help couples relax and simply enjoy being together while I capture the moments naturally.
As I look back through these Glencliff Manor wedding pictures, I’m reminded that some of the best love stories start with one simple “yes”.
